THE GEORGIAN

The Georgian Built in Bristol and launched in February 1996, the Georgian is one of the largest boats to operate on the upper Thames

She features a magnificent saloon that enables passengers to have an unimpeded views of the Thames whilst dining. Up to 80 can be served a silver service meal, or up to 140 can partake of one of our buffets.

The teak-panelled interior incorporates brass fittings, wall to wall carpeting and plush upholstery. A fully-equipped kitchen, where meals are prepared on board from fresh ingredients, also enables your chosen chef to operate with ease should you prefer to use your own caterers. Our onboard bar offers a complete range of alcoholic and soft drinks.

The top deck is covered by an automated sun roof which lowers as the boat passes under the low bridges of the upper Thames. This space is perfect for evening summer cocktail parties and BBQ’s.

For the summer months she operates out of Maidenhead, from where there are a variety of trips available from Henley Regatta to our Rich and Famous Tour.

Located in Maidenhead during the summer months, she will be available in Central London from Mid September. When in London she will be licenced for Clay Shooting from her top deck, be terrific for Christmas Functions and other parties. She is also suited to board meetings, conferences and training days with special delegate rates available on application. Bar Prices - Your bar onboard can be run on an account, cash or mixture basis. Prices are comparable to pub prices and a full range of drinks is available on board. For account bars a 10% charge is levied. Menu’s - The Georgian has a large extremely well equipped galley, enabling the best dining options. Menu’s are available on request. Own Catering is possible on board this boat and available at an additional cost for use of the galley, crockery, cutlery and linen. Piers - We can operate out of most central London piers with Festival Pier on the South Bank being a favoured option, and Westminster being a good option for the North Bank. Upper Thames - We can operate out of Monkey Island, Cliveden, the Waterside Inn, Oakley Court, Windsor, Marlow and Henley. Additional costs may be incurred dependent upon the distance the boat needs to relocate. Our office staff will be pleased to provide prices for you. Booking - To make a booking requires a 50% deposit of the boat hire only. The balance of hire with hospitality costs being due 2 weeks before the charter. Conferences - our ½ day delegate rates start at £35 * with full day rates at £70* per head (*min of 40 subject to VAT at current rate, 9am-1pm or 9am - 5pm) min 4 hour charter .
