Because of the extreme tides most boats cannot get down to Kew Gardens and Hampton Court but the Kingwood is guaranteed to get under all bridges evan in high waters which makes her perfect for boat transfers.
The Kingwood is a traditional Thames steamer built in 1915 but rebuilt in 1977 to modern vessel specification and mca class 5 standards.

The Kingwood is an original Thames Steamer launched 1915. She was among the many little ships to assist with the evacuations of Dunkirk in 1940.

The saloon boasts a well stocked bar, ample space for a dance-floor and buffet while the foredeck is open allowing unimpeded viewing of the magnificent sights along the Thames.
Seats Guests: 48 for silver service meals, Guests: 95 for buffets or barbecues. Cocktail cruises, served meals, meetings and conferences.
Only 1 of a few boats that can boast wheelchair access and disabled WC facilties.
'Cater In' offer a range of menus for you to choose from whether you fancy finger nibbles or a full served 3 course sit down meal.
We cater for your own requirements & are happy to accommodate your own selection if our examples menus aren’t what you had in mind.
Vegetarian options are available as part or full replacement.
